Our products are obtained directly from miners at source in various countries in Sub-Saharan Africa such as Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Zambia and Namibia. Information about country of origin is available on our web page and will also be confirmed to you if upon enquiry.

It is only because we obtain all our products directly from the miners in their rough state with no involvement of middlepersons that we can guarantee the authenticity of every merchandise. We only supply stones with no treatment or other enhancements performed.
The cost price as well as the quantity will determine your purchase price. Note that once you send an email to info@subsaharangems.com or a WhatsApp message to the numbers provided on the web page, this will be discussed and agreed with you. Once the amount has been agreed, a proforma invoice will be sent to you.
We usually ship all orders within 5-10 working days. Export procedures might take additional time. However, bulky orders e.g. more than 5 tones can take up to 21 calendar days.
We ship our products to most of the international destinations across the globe except for a few countries. Please contact us to check if your country is eligible for shipping.
We accept payments via bank transfer. Once your order has been placed, a proforma invoice will be sent to you with a full description of the goods you have ordered and our bank details. Shipment procedures begin once payment is confirmed.
Yes, all shipments are completely insured by Sub-Saharan Gemstones. We only send our products through reputed courier partners. For high-value shipments, we partner with the industry experts in critical logistics such as DHL and for bulky goods we ship with other equally reputable carriers such as Mediterranean Shipping Company.

Yes. The photographs that are posted on our web page are for products that are currently in stock. However, as we are constantly in close contact with the miners, you are encouraged to provide a description of any products that you would like to order but are not part of our stocklist. Be assured that we will do our best to source this for you and will provide you feedback in the shortest space of time possible.
Yes, we will only ship the same product which you have selected and ordered. Note that we do not post pictures of products that are not part of our stock list.
Indeed, each gemstone has its documentation along with its certificate of authenticity. The gemstones are properly refined and left in a state that is as accurate to the documentation itself.
